\"\"<\/a>Mary Stavin<\/b> was born in \u00d6rebro, Sweden. After being crowned Miss World in 1977, she’s done various acting work.<\/p>\n

Among her film credits are two James Bond movies directed by John Glen<\/b>, one of the Octopussy girls in OCTOPUSSY<\/strong> and Kimberley Jones in A VIEW TO A KILL<\/strong>. After finishing shooting OCTOPUSSY<\/strong>, she travelled the world for more than a year doing numerous tv appearances promoting the movie.<\/p>\n

Other work includes a co-starring role with Franco Nero<\/b> in the movie TOP LINE<\/strong> directed by Nello Rossati<\/b>. She worked with William Katt<\/b> and George Wendt<\/b> in the comedy horror movie HOUSE<\/strong>. Starred in the movie BORN TO FIGHT<\/strong> and the movie STRIKE COMMANDO 2<\/strong> with Richard Harris<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Mary also worked with Italian actor Giuliano Gemma<\/b> and Ernest Borgnine<\/b> in BLOOD FLIGHT<\/strong> (aka The Opponent) playing Gilda directed by Sergio Martino<\/b>, and starred in the movie THE DEVIL TAKES A HOLIDAY<\/strong> directed by Leon Corcos<\/b>.<\/p>\n

On television, she was in a couple of episodes of TWIN PEAKS<\/strong> playing the Icelandic woman Heba Thorsdottir.<\/p>\n

She’s also toured the United Kingdom starring in plays Make and Break<\/i> and Who killed William Hickey<\/i> produced by Bill Kenwright<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Her most recent work includes the short THE CHRISTMAS PAUSE<\/strong> directed by Joe Stone<\/b> and the upcoming movie BARKING MAD<\/strong> directed by Charles Dennis<\/b>.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also been a judge for two of the Miss World competitions. Also hosted the Miss World competition with Peter Marshall<\/b> in 1986.<\/p>\n

She was given the lifetime achievement award by Variety Club of the United Kingdom. The award was presented to her by Lord Mountbatten<\/b>. Mary also performed at the Royal Command performance with Bob Hope<\/b> for the Queen of England.<\/p>\n

Mary Stavin<\/b> is available for acting, endorsements, and celebrity appearances. She is based in Los Angeles and represented worldwide by Anders Frejdh<\/b>.<\/p>\n
